VINS presents “Nesting Seasons – Raptors and their homes,” on Thursday, June 29, 1:00 – 1:45 – Humans aren’t the only creatures that build amazing homes for their families! Nesting season is the most important time of the year for bird populations, and we can take actions that help them out. Join VINS to learn what to do if you find a baby bird, and consider becoming a citizen scientist through conservation projects like NestWatch. You’ll find out what bird parents are busy doing at this of time year, and meet three live raptors up close to learn from the experts themselves. This program is suitable for ages 4 and up.
