Board Games

Looking for a screen free family activity? Check out one of our brand new board games! Place a hold through the online catalog, or call the library to reserve one for your family game night.

Here is a brief description of our games:

Board Games

Acorn Soup is a game where toddlers help squirrels make soup while learning counting skills and object recognition.
Ages 2+, 2 players, games take 5 to 10 minutes.

Apples to Apples is the game of hilarious comparisons. 
Ages 8+, 4 to 10 players, games take about 30 minutes.

Battleship is the game where you make guesses along a grid system to sink your opponents ships. This version includes planes!
Ages 6+, 2 players, games take about 30 minutes. 

Catan is the classic game of collecting and trading resources to build settlements.
Ages 10+, 3-4 players, games take between 1 and 2 hours.

Cauldron Quest is a game where you must work together to create a magic potion to stop an evil wizard from destroying the kingdom.
Ages 6+, 2-4 players, games take 20 minutes

Clue is a game where you deduce the culprit of a crime and identify who did it, with what, and where.
Ages 8+, 2-6 players, games take about 45 minutes

Connect 4 Spin is a new variation where each column spins separately, and the more checkers are added, the more likely it is that gravity will take over and spin the column upside down.
Ages 8+, 2 players, games take 5 to 15 minutes

Count Your Chickens is a game where you use a spinner to add baby chicks to the chicken coop before the fox sets you back.
Ages 3+, 2-4 players, games take about 15 minutes.

Dinosaur Escape is a collaborative game where players work together to get three dinosaurs safely to an island before a volcano erupts.
Ages 3+, 2-4 players, games take about 20 minutes.

Disney Codenames is a team based guessing game great for deductive reasoning.
Ages 8+, 2-8 players, games take between 15 and 30 minutes.

Feed the Woozle is a cooperative game for preschoolers to help build motor skills and taking turns.
Ages 3+, 2-5 players, games take about 15 minutes.

Found It: Indoor & Outdoor is a set of cards for scavenger hunts that take place indoor or outdoors.
Ages 4+, unlimited players, games last as long as you like.

Guess Who is the game where you narrow down your opponents character by asking questions about their features. This version includes a pets option!
Ages 6+, 2 players, games take about 20 minutes.

Happy Salmon is an active game where you high five, fist bump, switch places and have fun together. Be the fastest to get rid of all your cards to win.
Ages 6+, 2-6 players, games take about 5 minutes. 

Hoot Owl Hoot is a cooperative game for preschoolers that helps build color matching and pattern building skills.
Ages 4+, 2-4 players, games take about 15 minutes.

Jenga is the block stacking game where you see how high you can build before it all comes crashing down.
Ages 6+, 1 – 8 players, games take about 20 minutes.

Just One is kind of like Taboo, but without the buzzer. Work together to get the guesser to guess the word without ever using the word.
Ages 8+, 3 – 7 players, games take about 20 minutes.

Lanterns is a beautiful, peaceful tile matching game.
Ages 8+, 2-4 players, games take about 30 minutes.

Monkey Around is a game for preschoolers that helps build gross motor and vocabulary skills.
Ages 2+, 1-4 players, games take about 10 minutes

Outfoxed is a game for preschoolers to gather clues with detective pals to catch a crafty fox before it skips town!
Ages 5+, 2-4 players, games take about 20 minutes.

Pictureka is a game of visual hide and seek.
Ages 4+, 2-7 players, games take about 30 minutes. 

Pictureka! Card Game is a version of the board game that offers 4 new twists on how to play this visual game of hide and seek .
Ages 6+, 2-20 players, games take about a 15 minutes 

Planet is a game where you build a world with different habitats and compete to get animals to come live there.
Ages 6+, 2-4 players, games take between 30 and 45 minutes. 

Scattergories is a timed word challenge game.
Ages 10+, 2-6 players, games take about 30 minutes. 

Scrabble Slam! Is a fast paced word game where you substitute letters to make new words. First to get rid of all their cards wins!
Ages 8+, 2-4 players, games take about 15 minutes

Sequence: Letters is a version of Sequence set up to help kids learn upper and lowercase letters.
Ages 4+, 2-4 players, games take 15 to 30 minutes.

Space Escape is a game where you and your team must work together to escape a space station full of snakes!
Ages 7+, 2-4 players, games take 20 minutes. 

Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza is a reaction game where you have to act fast and slap the deck when the flipped card actually is that taco, cat, goat, cheese or pizza
Ages 8+, 2-6 players, games take 15 to 30 minutes. 

Telestrations is kind of like Telephone and Pictionary had a hilarious baby.
Ages 8+, 4-8 players, games take about 30 minutes. 

Ticket to Ride is a game where you place trains to cities across the country and compete for various bonus points. Ages 8+, 2-5 players, games take 30 to 60 minutes.

Uno is a card game where you race to get rid of all your cards but be aware of the wild cards!
Ages 7+, 2-10 players, games take about 30 minutes.

UpWords is a game where you use tiles to form words vertically and horizontally on the board, as well as stack letters on top of one another to make new words.
Ages 8+, 2-4 players, games take 60 to 90 minutes
