27th Annual Sunday Afternoon Music Series – Dana Robinson
Sunday, December 6th at 2 p.m.
Free Admission
Dana Robinson has spent the better part of four decades writing songs shaped by the American landscape — from the open highways he hitchhiked across the West as a young man to the Vermont hills he’s called home since the late ’80s. His songwriting blends contemporary folk and country blues with a sensibility all his own, and it’s carried him from Carnegie Hall to Ken Burns documentaries to thousands of shows across the U.S. and UK.
Dana’s songwriting expresses a reverence for nature and the landscape, telling stories that delve deep into rural life with wonder, humor and connection with community. Dana’s lyrics capture places in time with uncanny detail to reflect truths and connection with the forces that shape our lives. He doesn’t just sing about places; he gets beneath the surface, translating the quiet grit and breathtaking beauty of the Vermont landscape into melody and verse.
The concert series is presented to you by the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library and an anonymous donor. Thank you!
