Baby Toddler Storytime – Tuesdays at 10:30am [ages 0-5]
Join us for a baby and toddler focused story time with tickles, bounces, songs, rhymes and, of course, stories.

Animation Club – Thursdays, April 4th and 18th from 3 to 5pm [ages 8+]
Create a claymation masterpiece, or try out an animation app. The library has what you need to get started animating your very own videos. Please sign up when you call, email or visit the library.
Solar Eclipse – Monday, April 8th from 1 to 4pm [all ages]
Join Ms. Abbey and our friend Scott Turnbull from the Vermont Astronomical Society on the back lawn to view the total solar eclipse! We will have a limited number of eclipse glasses available.
Warrior Cats Club – Wednesday, April 10th from 4 to 5pm [ages 10+]
Do you love the Warriors books? So do a lot of people. Join us to chat about your favorite characters, make art and talk all about the story. No registration needed. Hope to see you there!
Craft Stick Catapults – Thursday, April 11th from 3-4pm [ages 6+]
Build mini catapults out of popsicle sticks, glue, rubber bands, and other little crafty things, and then compete to see which design can chuck various projectiles the furthest. Space is limited. Please sign up by stopping by the library, calling us at 899-4962 or email [email protected]
LEGO Club – Fridays, April 12th and 26th from 3 to 4pm [ages 6+]
Build a flower, a tractor or an alien spaceship! Anything you build will be on display in the kids room until the next LEGO club. Please sign up when you call, email or visit the library.
Welcome New Baby Social – Saturday, April 13th from 10 to noon [all ages]
Welcome all babies born in 2023! We’re happy to be hosting our new baby social once again. We’ll have folks from the Vermont Literacy Network, Let’s Grow Kids and some local schools and daycares there to show you just how supported you and your new baby can be in our community. We also invite you to pick a picture book to dedicate to your little one with a stick in book plate and a special message from you. Light refreshments available.
Tissue Paper Flowers Craft – Tuesday, April 16th from 3 to 4pm [all ages]
Turn tissue paper into beautiful April flowers. This craft is adaptable to any age. No sign up needed. Hope to see you there.
Read to Wyatt — Wednesday, April 17th from 3 to 4:30 [all ages]
Spring might be here, but it’s always a good time to cozy up with Wyatt and read some stories. Therapy dogs don’t care how well you read, or if you get all the words right and that helps build a more confident reader. Sign up for your spot with Wyatt when you call, email or visit the library.
Taylor Swift Poetry Club – Friday, April 19th from 3 to 4pm [ages 8+]
Celebrate the release of Taylor Swift’s newest album “Tortured Poets’ Department” with us! We’ll make T. Swift friendship bracelets, talk about her lyrics as poetry and write some of our own.
Poetry Workshop – Thursday, April 25th from 11 to 12 [ages 6+]
Celebrate National Poetry Month when you drop in and create black out poetry, acrostics, haiku, free verse and more. We will talk a little bit about what makes a poem, write some and read some too.
